    This class is the Practice/Skills Test Session/ Parts 2 & 3

     

    eLearning Practice/Skills Test Sessions are designed for anyone who HAS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED American Heart Association Online Part 1.  We provide Practice/Skills Test Session Parts 2 & 3 for ACLS.

     You will click on Blended and elearning courses then select Heartcode ACLS

    An eCard is issued for all ACLS courses on day of class.

    The Practice/Skills Test Session Part 2 & 3 allows the participant to practice their skills followed by testing their skills with an AHA Certified Instructor. Upon successful completion of testing, an AHA 2 year Certification Card is provided.

    You must complete parts 2 and 3 within 60 days of completion of part 1 online.

    This course is for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.

    •  Science Overview (Update Course)  Team Dynamics
    •  BLS and ACLS Surveys
    •  Immediate Post- Cardiac Arrest Care
    •  Airway Management/ Respiratory Arrest
    •  Periarrest Rhythms (Tachycardia, Bradycardia)
    •  Arrest Rhythms (VF, PVT, PEA, Asystole)
    •  Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS)
    •  Stroke
    •  Megacode treatment

    An eCard is issued for all ACLS and BLS courses on day of class.

    This class combines - AHA - ACLS Renewal and BLS Skills.  You must complete the online BLS course and bring a copy of your completed certificate to class.

    To prepare for ACLS renewal class it is advised that you study your manual and take the precourse test.  Bring a copy of completed test to class.

    Bring a copy of the precourse test to class and you need a score of at  least 70%.

      Designed for All Healthcare Providers

      There is only 1 BLS course for all:   New, Expired, or Renewing

      An eCard is issued for all BLS courses on day of class.

      The Basic Life Support (BLS) course teaches CPR/AED and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction in Adult, Infant and Child. The BLS for Healthcare Providers Course covers core material such as Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction, and Automated External Defibrillation (AED).

      This course is intended for ALL Healthcare Providers, including nursing students.

      An eCard is issued for all BLS courses on day of class.

       This BLS skills session is not recommeded for those individuals who have never taken this course before.  I highly suggest you take the full class with me then take the skills for your 2 year renewals if you prefer.

       This class is for BLS skills only.   You must complete the online class before coming to the skills class.  Bring a copy of your completed online certificate to the skills class.

      You must complete parts 2 and 3 within 60 days of completion of part 1 online.

        The CPR/AED and First Aid course provides training in basic First Aid and CPR/AED procedures.

        • Adult /Child/Infant CPR/AED
        • Adult/Child/Infant Choking

        This First Aid/CPR course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies.

         

        Replacement cards are issued only to CPR FOR LIFE students who have previously completed a class with CPR FOR LIFE.
